The XVII International Numismatic Congress, organised under the auspices of the International Numismatic Council, will be hosted by the Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, on 12–17 September 2027.
The Opening Ceremony of the Congress will be held in the evening of Sunday September 12th. There will be four full days of sessions on Monday 13th, Tuesday 14th, Thursday 16th and Friday 17th, as well as a half day on the morning of Wednesday 15th. Pre- and post-congress excursions, as well as local tours on the Wednesday afternoon are planned.
The Congress will take place at the Campus Westend of the Goethe University Frankfurt, Norbert-Wollheim-Platz 1, Frankfurt am Main. Main events and all sessions will be in the University's modern main lecture theatre centre (Hörsaalzentrum). The campus also offers a canteen for lunches immediately adjacent to the lecture theatres, as well as a number of cafés and a supermarket within a few minutes walking distance. The venue is situated about 1.5 km north of the city centre and can easily be reached by public transport. The extensive Grüneburg Park, once the home of the Rothschild family, adjoins the campus.
Frankfurt offers a wide range of accommodation at all price levels. Special congress rates will be published here, where and when available.
